Residential buildings constitute 62% of 810 buildings served by the company

Dubai, UAE - Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world's largest district cooling services provider, revealed today its customer segmentations. The company said that the diversity of its client base qualified the company to gain wide ranging and in depth expertise and knowledge in the nature of its clients' businesses as well as their consumption behavior across the 810 buildings served in 2015.

As of December 2015, Empower serves 810 buildings in Dubai out of which 501 are residential buildings and 145 are commercial ones. In the hospitality sector, the company serves 104 hotels. It also lends its services to 22 mix use developments, 18 healthcare services buildings, 3 hospitals, 10 schools, 5 community centers, a mall and a theme park.

"We are dealing with a wide range of customers, from apartment-dwellers, buildings, commercial establishments and offices, whole buildings, hotels, medical facilities and hospitals, transportation infrastructure, universities and schools, and retail outlets. This diversity shows that district cooling technology has presented itself as an alternative to conventional chilling regardless of the nature of the business of customers," he added.

Empower succeeded in maintaining excellence in customer servicing which stems from the leadership positioning of the company across the world. The company adopts stringent quality measures in its 55,000 sub-meters, and its Command Control Centre to ensure precise and perfect service to customers.
