Honoring ceremony rewards top performing employees at MBRHE

Dubai, May 18, 2009: Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) hosted an honoring ceremony to reward its top performing employees for their accomplishments and overall performance.

The ceremony took place at MBRHE and was attended by employees and MBRHE Management who handed out appreciation certificates and cash rewards to several MBRHE employees. The decision to offer rewards to select employees came after several employees met MBRHE's criteria; contributing to company success, working overtime and suggesting innovative ideas for business development.

"Our employees have contributed greatly to our success and their commitment is at the cornerstone of our company's tremendous growth and business success this year. We want to thank them all for supporting the goals and vision of the Establishment and for their efforts, said Sami Gargash, CEO of MBRHE.

The honored employees included Borhan Al Habay, Assistant Executive Director of projects, who made remarkable achievements through his position as the President of the housing sector in addition to his dedication and impressive accomplishments in the project design sector. Omar Ahli, director of loans and grants department, was also honored for his leadership of the housing allocation team and achievements as the President of the strategy and quality department and the communications department as well as Senior Legal Researcher, Mohammad Al Haddad was also amongst the distinguished MBRHE employees.

"The concept of rewarding staff is no new concept for MBRHE.  We have been rewarding staff since the launch of the Establishment and believe that this one small act can build positive morale in the world place. It is our way of showing appreciation and gratitude to outstanding employees for their outstanding contributions and unmatched efforts over the years to strengthening the image and reach of the Establishment, added Sami Gargash.

About MBRHE
The Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) was established by virtue of a decree passed by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai on September 28, 2006. Being an independent public corporate body with all the legal competence to achieve its objectives, the MBRHE has its headquarters in Dubai City and boast of a capital of about AED12 billion.

Its major task is to own, rent and lease land and other real estate properties. It also deals in other activities like managing financial issues related to housing loans, contracting financial and banking institutions and designing for UAE nationals housing units and complexes and other related amenities.

The MBRHE grants three types of loans to UAE nationals. These include:

  • Housing loans for building of private houses

  • Granting of AED750,000 loan facility for purchasing of house (completed or uncompleted) for personal use.

  • Granting of a maximum loan facility of AED300,000 for expansion of private house.

The MBRHE has also drawn a plan through which it will be granting 300 loans per month to a tune of 3,600 loans per year.

The MBRHE is currently executing a number of housing projects in various parts of the Emirate of Dubai. The foundation stone of the Phase I of an AED10 billion housing project, comprising 10,000 housing units had been laid.

The MBRHE is also engaged in providing free government houses, maintenance and house extension works to low-income groups, including widows, divorced women, people with special needs and heirs. The move is part of the government's unlimited support for this important segment of the society with the aim of eliminating any hardship they might be facing.
