United Arab Emirates, Dubai, November 10th 2009: Emirates NBD, the regional banking leader in assets, announces the launch of "Customer Day" program that will be held across its branch network. This initiative is dedicated to emphasize the importance of customer service and satisfaction levels throughout Emirates NBD branches.

The Customer Day program aims to create a heightened awareness about the service excellence amongst the frontline staff and capture the overall customer experience. Customer feedback is essential to uphold the true values of customer focus and service excellence and the program is designed to reinforce them. The service champions at the branches will be identified and recognized for delivery of superior customer service.

Customers visiting the branch on this day will have the opportunity to interact with the Senior Management team and express their opinion. This program's main focus will revolve around our frontline staff interacting with the customers and make their experience a unique one.

Commenting on this event, Suvo Sarkar Executive Vice President and General Manager Retail Banking at Emirates NBD stated, "This is an ideal way to motivate our dedicated branch staff and highlight the importance of a sustainable and committed service culture. We shall adopt the concepts of "Service Excellence" developed by internationally renowned expert on service excellence, Ron Kaufman.

The event was kicked off at Dubai Festival City branch on November 8th, and will be followed at other branches over the next few months.
