MEP/ID works underway; on track for mid-2008 opening
390,000 sq ft gross leasable area, over 160 stores

Dubai, UAE; November 6, 2007: Emaar Malls Group, the shopping malls subsidiary of Emaar Properties PJSC, is on-schedule with the development of the Dubai Marina Mall with 100 per cent concrete work already completed. The mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) and interior design (ID) works are also underway, and the mall is on track for opening mid-2008.
The Dubai Marina Mall will be a key shopping and lifestyle component for residents and visitors at the vibrant Dubai Marina, the first of its kind master-planned waterfront development in the region by Emaar, with an estimated population of 75,000. Dubai Marina Mall will have 390,000 sq ft of gross leasable area with over 160 stores offering an eclectic retail mix of shopping, dining and entertainment options. A key highlight is the 7-storey gourmet tower, a revolutionary dining out concept showcasing world-class cuisine from around the world.
Dubai Marina Mall will sport a unique architectural design with a circular atrium that makes best use of its waterfront location. An extensive promenade lined with restaurants and cafés will also showcase the mall's waterside appeal. Billed to be a total lifestyle and shopping destination, Dubai Marina Mall also features a multi-screen cineplex, and a children's entertainment area.
The mall is complemented by the Dubai Marina Mall Hotel & Serviced Residences and the Marina Plaza - Dubai Marina's only commercial tower. A large multi-storey car park can hold over 2,200 car park spaces for mall visitors.
Dubai Marina is an ambitious 50 million sq ft development with 11 km of waterfront boardwalk. When completed, the development will feature five Marinas with fully serviced berths that can accommodate 500 vessels.
Emaar has already handed over three residential projects - Al Majara, Al Sahab and Dubai Marina Towers within Dubai Marina. Work is progressing on Emaar's three other waterfront developments - Marina Promenade, Marina Quays and Park Island. Retail sales at Dubai Marina are strong with its emergence as the new lifestyle and leisure destination in Dubai.
Leasing of retail space within the Dubai Marina Mall will commence soon.
