DUBAI, UAE: Power management company Eaton is helping building owners and site managers adhere to physical distancing and building safety guidelines with its CrystalWay physical distancing pictograms.

Emergency lighting is a lifeline in hazardous situations. It enables the safe, prompt and efficient evacuation of spaces and buildings, but the role of exit sign luminaires may not always be showing the escape route. An effective emergency lighting system also delivers information, such as helping people locate safety equipment plus refuge and assembly points.

The CrystalWay physical distancing pictograms utilises Eaton’s expertise in emergency lighting, such as high luminance for optimal recognition, to provide clear visible signage to educate building occupants and support the implementation of local physical distancing  guidelines. The solution is available as pictogram only or as a complete product, including a backlit LED sign based on the CrystalWay emergency lighting product - with 1m, 1.5m and 2m pictograms inside the box (to cater for international markets).  The fixture can be mounted on the wall or ceiling.

Eaton is aware of the impact of the coronavirus and realises that companies can make an important contribution when putting people safety first, therefore all profits from the sale of the physical distancing pictogram products in 2020 will be donated to local charitable causes.
