Dubai's best shopping deals this season

While Modhesh mania sweeps Dubai's malls, shopping  has become the  flavour of the month. With Sale Banners across all malls, the season to shop stretches endlessly in Dubai.

The Mexx Sale,  the Lamcy Sale, the Villa Moda Sale, The Bossini Sale, the Seimens Summer Promotion, The Salam Sale at Wafi City, The Juicy Sale at Lulu, The Gold and Jewellery Summer Surprise, Jumbo's Summer of Bonanzas, The Grand Raffle at Woolworths, the Part Sale at Promod,  the Sale at Massimo Dutti,  the sale at Maxmara, the Sale at Marina Rinaldi and the list goes on.  Participating in DSS activities and shopping seem to go hand in hand for many families visiting Dubai's luxurious malls.

Says  Rebecca King, a visitor of Dubai from Hong Kong, "I joined my husband for a business trip. We come to Dubai pretty often, but this is the first time we have come during DSS. It's a great place - and  I consider Dubai the best place to shop for shoes and western couture.  The offers here are simply amazing, and more importantly, my child has  a lovely time in the indoor play areas - world class and exceptional in every way."

Another shopper, Abla Jiban from Algeria, a first time tourist to Dubai said, "I have been in Dubai for a week now, and I came here mainly for shopping. Although we have similar shops in Algeria, the shopping experience and infrastructure here is terrific."

Fahad Al Otaibi, a Kuwaiti national staying in Al Ain said, "I have been living in the UAE for the past 14 years. The discounts are wonderful. I have bought gifts, toys, perfumes and so many things for my family. Normally, one has to look for things to do in the summers. I find Dubai  the ideal place to spend summers  in - its better than traveling to Europe, since it combines Arab culture in a Western format."

Leslie Austen from Ohio, Victoria Coenig from California and Robert Timothy from Pennsylvania have been in Dubai for four days now and this is amongst their several trips to Dubai. Says Leslie, "This is the first time that we have visited Dubai during the Dubai Summer Surprises. The malls are a lot busier during this time. The interesting hot weather and unique environment can be very relaxing and the vast diversity of nationalities here is extremely likable. We also love the shopping experience."

So loading your shopping trolleys with valuable merchandise and spending hours of fun with your young children at the malls can become your ideal summer formula for beating the heat.
