Yacht Club Marina to berth 116 vessels

Demonstrates Dubai Marina's lifestyle offering

Dubai, UAE; February 27, 2008: Emaar Hospitality Group LLC is planning to open its second Marina within the Dubai Marina lifestyle community in mid-2008, along with a modern clubhouse built for the Dubai Marina Yacht Club.

The Yacht Club Marina can berth 116 vessels and is the largest among the four Marinas due for completion, including Marina Mall Marina and West Marina, within the waterfront project. Already 220 berths are up and running at the East Marina. Through the four Marinas, Dubai Marina will eventually offer 600 berths.

"Dubai Marina is a demonstration of innovative adaptation to modern lifestyles, and offers a unique experience to the UAE by delivering a full spectrum of water-based activities such as yachting, sailing and invigorating water sports," said Mr Marc Dardenne, CEO, Emaar Hospitality Group LLC. "The addition of Dubai Marina Yacht Club complements the needs of Dubai's bustling boating community by showcasing several lifestyle amenities."

"The Clubhouse and Marina will appeal to the most discerning boat owners, offering the best of indoor and outdoor leisure pursuits. Boat owners can look forward to state-of-the-art facilities, catering for Power Boats ranging from 9-35 metres in length. Our staff members will assist new boat owners in understanding the capabilities and variances involved with boating, and can offer friendly advice to ensure a most enjoyable day out," said Mr Paul Sorrell, Acting General Manager/Harbour Master, Dubai Marina Yacht Club.

The authentically-designed Club is an architectural masterpiece. Its interior, designed by international consultants, creates a contemporary feel with a warm, hospitality-led atmosphere, enhanced by the extensive use of wooden features. It offers access to international yacht sale & brokers offices, charter office and a boating school.

The general public can also benefit from facilities such as a marine retail shopping arcade, restaurants, a provisions store, a nautical gift store and a yachting fashion boutique. A boat repair facility, to open soon, has been designed to offer essential services to boat owners with discounted rates applicable for Dubai Marina Yacht Club members.

The well-equipped Club provides 24-hour security and value-added services such as valet parking, weekly boat cleaning for members and monthly safety education seminars for boat owners. "One of our assets is a team of experienced staff members who can assist new owners with their boats," added Mr Dardenne. "We are also looking at partnering with other international Marina clubs to enable member privileges."

The Club's licensed restaurants are open to all. Built facing its own 116-berth private Marina, the ground floor opens out through a waterfront café onto a public boulevard called Marina Walk, which encircles the canal. The Club is currently accepting bookings for social and corporate cruises aboard the new MV Carver yacht.

Pre-registrations for founding membership of the Club can be made at the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) to be held from March 11 to 15 at the Dubai International Marine Club. Potential members can visit the Dubai Marina Yacht Club team members on the water at DIBS 2008.

The dedicated website for Dubai Marina Yacht Club can be accessed at www.dubaimarinayachtclub.com offering more detailed information on memberships and general facilities.

Dedicated private members areas include a library and chart room, billiard and cigar lounge, and intimate lounge.

Fully licensed restaurants are open to all. Built facing its own 116-berth private marina, the ground floor opens out through a waterfront café onto a public boulevard called Marina Walk, which encircles the canal.
