Seven employees received certificates of appreciation and a reward from Dubai Airport Free Zone for their outstanding contribution to the organization.
Commenting on the employee recognition scheme after handing over the awards, Mr. Yousuf Behzad, Executive Director, Human Capital and Strategy said, "Employee recognition has a direct effect on employee performance when it is presented properly. The 2008 winners of the award for workplace excellence include: Valappll Abdul Rasheed (Hero Award), Sumaya Sharbak, Alia Al Joker and Shyamlal Rajpati (5 years of exceptional service award); Yakoob Sheriff, (Employee of the year - Male) and Hasna Nawab Sharif of Human resources (Employee of the year - Female); and Salim Darwish Al Zaabi (Special Recognition)
