Dubai, July 11, 2004: The Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) Office has announced that the fourth draw of the Grand Summer Raffle will be held on Friday, July 16, 2004. As part of the raffle, two BMW cars and Dh100,000 in cash are up for grabs.
Mr. Ibrahim Saleh, Chief Operations Officer of Dubai Summer Surprises, said: "The Dubai Summer Surprises opens the doors for all the people, both residents and the visitors, to participate and stand a chance to be chosen as the winner of prizes worth Dh450,000 as part of the Grand Summer Raffle."
He added that the Grand Summer Raffle draws are attracting a lot of attention and the promotion has evoked a very encouraging response from all quarters, with the residents and the visitors evincing keen interest in buying the tickets, each worth Dh200.
The raffle, the-first-of-its-kind promotion, is being organised by the DSS Office, in association with Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre (AGMC), the exclusive importer of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce in Dubai, Sharjah and Northern Emirates, and Emarat.
As part of the promotion, one winner will walk away with a BMW X3, a BMW 520i and Dh100,000 in cash. Dubai Business Channel telecasts the proceedings live during the Grand Summer Raffle draws on Fridays at 9pm.
The Grand Summer Raffle coupons are available at 33 Emarat stations in Dubai, Deira City Centre, BurJuman Centre, Baniyas Street, Al Fahidi Street and Gold Souq. Among the Emarat Stations where the tickets are made available include Al Khubaisi, Hor Al Anz, Kuwait, Al Awir, Nad Al Hamar, Beach, Jebel Ali, Naharwan, Dana, Al Wejdan, Al Muhaisna, Taqniya, Muteena, Al Bustan, Al Madares, Galadari, Atrium/C-Store, Abu Khadra, Bridge, Karama, Al Wasl, Bin Hendi, Dubai Internet City, Al Rajhan, Al Raed, Garhoud, Safa Park, Lamtara, Chicago Beach, Al Dhiyafa, Al Adhed, Al Hassa, Umm Suqueim, and Jatabiyah (Ras Al Khor).

Dubai Summer Surprises 2004 is currently in the Cartoon Surprises being organised by Dubai Ports Authority till July 14, followed by Flower Surprises by Dubai Municipality from July 15-21, Heritage Surprises by Dubai Customs from July 22-28, Adventure Surprises by Dubai Police from July 29-August 4, Knowledge Surprises by Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry from August 5-11, Back-2-School Surprises by the Department of Economic Development from August 12-18 and ends with Colour Surprises by the Department of Health and Medical Sciences from August 19-27, 2004.
