Dow Jones Newswires now serves online forex trading in English, Arabic and Eight Other Local languages
LONDON: Dow Jones today announced the expansion of its local language Newswires services with the addition of Turkish and Farsi. Dow Jones FX Select delivers real-time, breaking foreign-exchange news, in-depth policy commentary and expert trend analysis from Dow Jones' news bureaus around the globe, to leading foreign exchange brokerages and banks, FX trading platforms and FX portals. The new Turkish and Farsi services will also include market-moving economic indicator headlines and Dow Jones's popular Market Talk feature.
The announcement was made today at the Middle East Online Trading Summit and Awards held in Dubai, where Marcus Wright, Senior Editor, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Dow Jones Newswires, gave an address on the role of news in trading.
"Serving our readers in their first language is a key component of our growth strategy in the Middle East," said Mr. Wright. "By delivering breaking news and deep analysis in English, Arabic and now Farsi and Turkish, we can equip our customers in the region with the information they need to gain competitive advantage in their trading decisions."
Dow Jones FX Select is available via an XML feed or via widgets, designed to be strategically placed within existing portals, Web sites and workstations to improve a trader's daily workflow. Currency traders and investors will have access to the Dow Jones Turkish and Farsi Language Service through their affiliated banks, trading portals and financial service institutions. The new Turkish Language service is produced in cooperation with KnowledgeView Ltd. Dow Jones FX Select in Farsi is produced in cooperation with Dubai based News Group International.
Dow Jones Newswires also offers forex news in English, Arabic, Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish. Dow Jones equities news is also available in Dutch, French, Italian and Portuguese.
