Manama: DIYAR AL MUHARRAQ, one of Bahrain's biggest mixed-use residential urban developments has handed over a bus to the Dar Al Bahrain Parents Care Centre in Muharraq. Setting a whole new example in terms of socially responsible activities, DIYAR AL MUHARRAQ donated the bus to the centre's officials. Dar Al Bahrain Parents Care has been engaged in the welfare of the elderly in Bahrain. The bus donated by DIYAR AL MUHARRAQ will help the centre to efficiently transport its staff and inmates on regular days as well as during special times of need.
Mr. Aaref Hejres, CEO of DIYAR AL MUHARRAQ said, "It's a very much known fact that close to 4 percent of our population in Bahrain is above the age of 65. And this means that we have an ageing population that needs special care and attention from us. The Dar Al Bahrain Parents Care has been doing the same for the past many years now. Their expertise and professional approach towards this noble cause is what encouraged us to support them in this way."
Dar Al Bahrain Parents Care in Muharraq is a charity organization working for the welfare and empowerment of the elderly citizens in Bahrain. The centre offers care and support to elderly citizens who require specialised care due to old age, disabilities or other health reasons.
