Amman, Jordan - DHL Express, the world's leading logistics service provider, recently gained international recognition for its exceptional customer service, when DHL Express Jordan Customer Service Manager, Ms. Taghreed Abu Marar, won the Bronze Stevie Award for best female executive of the year.
At the 10th annual event of the Stevie Awards for Women in Business in New York City, Ms. Abu Marar was honored for revolutionizing DHL Jordan's customer service since she took over its reins; contributing to an increase in revenues by over 100 per cent due to an exceptional increase in customer loyalty.
She was among the best female executives of the year in Europe, the Middle East and Africa recognized by the award, which honor and generate public recognition for achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide.
Ms. Abu Marar first joined DHL Express Jordan in 1997, and worked her way up to customer service manager in 2008. Believing in the power of the people and the ability of increasing customer retention through customer service Ms Abu Marar successfully implemented the "Straight To The Top (STTT)" program by opening a direct line for customers complaints and problems to herself and to Senior management which built a bridge of trust and increase in transparency.
