Three-day Forum calls on policy makers, government figures and investors to offer investment solutions to close supply and demand gap between in the water and power sector across Arabia

Leaders from the Arabian water and power industry are confirmed to speak at the 2nd Arabian Water & Power Forum, taking place 23-25 September 2013 at the Address Hotel, Dubai Marina, held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum. Industry experts include H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and H.E. Ahmed Al Muhairbi, Secretary General, Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE), who will help to identify demand and supply challenges in Arabia's power and water sector, with the specific aim of formulating solutions and identifying investment needed to boost supply. "Water and power are concerns that resonate throughout the Middle East in the face of water scarcity and the energy requirements of a burgeoning population coupled with resurgent economic activity. The supply-demand challenges posed are complex because they extend across a diversity of sectors and public sector bodies.
