Renewal incentives and family discounts available in individual health insurance plans for the first time in the UAE health industry

Abu Dhabi, 11 September 2013:  The National Health Insurance Company - Daman has launched its new range of individual health insurance plans designed exclusively for residents of Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The Care plan, featuring a number of variations, was created to address specific market demand in these Emirates by offering a range of flexible health insurance plans for individuals and families with different needs and budgets.

Introduced for the first time in the UAE health insurance industry, the Care plan offers a renewal incentive of a guaranteed 5 per cent reduction on premium rates for each member with a claim-free year. In addition, families of two or more members enrolled in the plan benefit will receive 5 per cent discount on the overall policy premium.

  • Annual coverage limits starting from AED 100,000 up to 5,000,000

  • Alternative medicine, chiropractic and Home Nursing services included in all plans

  • Second medical opinion from international experts included in all plans

  • International emergency assistance available in all plans with international networks

  • The option to add Dental and Maternity benefits

  • Bronze and Silver tiers feature new international networks exclusive to Care plans. Bronze tier features selected Asian countries while the Silver tier features a wider Asian network plus Arab countries.
