New location offers greater accessibility for Sharjah & Northern Emirates residents
Abu Dhabi, 10 February 2014: The National Health Insurance Company-Daman has announced the opening of its first branch in Sharjah. The new branch is ideal for serving individual clients and businesses based in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates and takes the total number of Daman offices to 34 of which 9 are branches and 25 are service points.
"With the demand for quality, value-based health insurance plans remaining high throughout the UAE, the opening of our first branch in Sharjah is an important step forward in our expansion plans across the nation," said Daman Chief Executive Dr. Michael Bitzer.
The new branch offers Daman's full range of members services including enrolment of new members, renewals, claim reimbursements and answering general enquiries.
Daman's Chief Commercial Officer, Dr. Sven Rohte commented, "Daman's health insurance plans have always been available to customers in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. The last couple of years we have seen an increased demand for our plans in these markets, so opening a branch in Sharjah as a natural step towards better serving our customers there."
The new branch is managed by Ahmed Thani Al Halyan from Sharjah who is experienced in customers' services and relations, locally and abroad.

The branch is located on the ground level of Crystal Plaza on Corniche Road with working hours from 8am to 4pm on weekdays.
Daman has branches across Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain, Madinat Zayed, Dubai and Sharjah.
