Daikin Air Conditioning announces the establishment in Saudi Arabia

The Global number one in Air Conditioning operations start

Riyadh, December 14, 2013: Daikin, the Global NO 1 Air Conditioning manufacturer has established Daikin Air Conditioning Saudi Arabia LLC with a joint venture with "RIRAC", a Saudi joint company between "Rahji Holdings" and AlMutlaq Group" conglomerates. The business operations will commence from December 2013.

Daikin is the Japanese global leader, innovator and provider of advanced air conditioning solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications. In establishing Saudi Arabia Affiliate, Daikin is aiming to directly support all the business operations, increase its market share, and promote new product developments and technologies. Building a solid sales network that utilizes a wide-ranging product lineup developed for KSA high ambient conditions, and complying with SASO regulations and comprehensive after sales services is Daikin's strategy.

Partnering with "Rahji Holdings" and AlMutlaq Group" will support Daikin with their strong business channels; Daikin will bring its worldwide expertise in residential, commercial and large scale infrastructure markets and integrate within their expertise in doing business in the Kingdom.

Mr. Hiroshi Shimada (General Manager of Daikin Air Conditioning Saudi Arabia) said "Daikin has been accelerating the strengthening of its sales and service capabilities, such as in the development of sales affiliates cultivated in each region of the world, transfer of sales know-how, and new establishment of training centers". He continued "Saudi Arabia is the biggest HVAC market in the Middle East region and with our full product line up from residential to large scale Applied products, Daikin will aim to get the number 1 share in the Saudi Arabian market."

Daikin Air Conditioning Saudi Arabia new head office will be in Riyadh, KSA, with a full product line up showroom and training center.
