Cyprus Airways, the Cypriot flag carrier, has re-launched its special ‘Visit Middle East’ package allowing passengers, enroute to Europe, the chance to break their journey at any of four Middle Eastern destinations for an additional Dhs 520 only, exclusive of taxes.
Visitors to any of the airline’s European destinations can fly return from Larnaca to Amman, Beirut, Cairo or Damascus and can choose this option on either leg of their trip, subject to flight availability.
Alternately, passengers can choose to holiday in Cyprus, with Cyprair Holiday packages offered by its own holidays division, before coming back to Dubai.
“Visit Middle East is a great value package for businessmen and corporate travellers who wish to combine a bit of pleasure with their business trips,” said C K Hussain, Gulf Manager, Cyprus Airways.
“It is also attractive to vacationers flying to Europe who can now visit a Middle Eastern destination at an economical price.”
Cyprus Airways also offers a market best return Europe business class flight via Larnaca, exclusive of taxes, for Dhs 3600 only. This rate includes an optional one night stay, including breakfast, at a five-star hotel in Larnaca, on both legs of the journey.
Return economy tickets to Europe cost Dhs 1700, until June 26 after which they will cost Dhs 1950, both exclusive of taxes, until August 3.
“It is our constant endeavour to improve our service standards in addition to the conveniences we offer, such as flexibility in travel dates,” said Hussain.
The airline has announced a third dedicated flight from Dubai to Larnaca beginning in June.
Cyprus Airways currently boasts a network covering 21 countries, including 22 European airports. The airline operates 16 flights a week to London Heathrow and seven additional weekly flights to other London airports, namely Gatwick and Standsted. In addition, the carrier operates four times a week to Manchester and two to Birmingham. It also operates five daily flights to Athens and one to Salonica.
