Sage Software hosts seminar in Qatar on how business management solutions can help boost local SME companies' growth
Sage Software, the leading global supplier of ERP, CRM and HRM solutions to medium and large organizations, recently hosted a senior-level seminar for SME companies, under the theme 'Be In The Game', at W Hotel in Qatar. The event, which was held in cooperation with Qatar Technology Solutions, Al Mana & Partners and VST Global and in partnership with BDO Jawad Habib, GBM and the Supreme Council for ICT in Qatar, featured some of the country's top Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) experts discussing key topics that included how to leverage SMEs in the upcoming growth economy. The seminar also centered on the discussion and sharing of modern business tactics and strategies, which included the importance of systems; employee empowerment; business efficiencies; cash flow significance for growing companies; customer advocacy; increasing business visibility and setting your business' 2020 goals.
Qatar, the upcoming host to the 2022 World Cup, has captured the attention of leading global corporations worldwide aiming to tap into opportunities presented by the fast growing economy. With its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) estimated to exceed 12.8 per cent in 2011 and heavy investments expected to be directed toward its infrastructure development, Qatar is ripe to embrace SMEs as key parts of the country's growth. The SME forum allowed Sage to help the participating companies in generating more business and inspire participation in Qatar's economic upturn. The company was also able to highlight its solutions such as the Extended Enterprise edition of Sage Accpac ERP and Sage CRM, and how SME organizations in Qatar can benefit from them and be an integral part of Qatar's economic growth.
Vikram Suri, Managing Director - Middle East & India, Sage Software, said: "More enterprises around the world are eyeing Qatar as a platform for growth and are adopting key technologies that can provide them with an edge in this dynamic market. By using the right business solutions such as those offered by Sage, SMEs in particular can enhance their efficiencies and be fully prepared to reap the benefits of Qatar's growth. Our seminar has surely enabled SMEs to identify and analyze business trends, align their strategies accordingly and learn how to adapt to today's constant market changes."
Sage continues to reach out to local companies and promote the strategic benefits of its business. The company is actively taking measures to capitalize on Qatar's thriving IT market, which BMI predicts will be worth USD 50 million by 2014. More enterprises, including SMEs, are investing heavily on their IT infrastructure and on basic solutions for financial concerns to streamline their operations and keep pace with their competitors. Through the seminar, Sage highlighted how CRM is becoming a norm and an important driver for the success of future businesses in Qatar. Sage's CRM solutions in particular provide a 360-degree view of organizations which enables its clients to effectively manage, retain and service their customers. Sage offers SMEs highly customizable software designed for various verticals across all sectors that can significantly boost business performance and profit. With more than 6.1 million customers worldwide, Sage has the expertise to help create positive results for any enterprise.
"Businesses today have become more interactive and customer focused--with the success and growth measured by the total number of satisfied customers you have at the end of the day. Realizing this important factor, Sage is committed to providing its customers with a wide comprehensive range of CRM and ERP based software that is not only focused on improving customer relations but also help promote more efficiency and productivity in a company's operations," concluded Suri.
