Cairo, Egypt:  Under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, RMHC Egypt in Cooperation with Kheir Wa Baraka NGO launched 3 new Centers of Excellence for Early Childhood Development, in Daraw, Nasr al-Nuba, and West Aswan, which comes as a continuation of a series of openings that started last month with launching the first 2 Centers in Kom Ombo and Edfu, to cover the entire governorate of Aswan with total of 5 Centers.

The Centers of Excellence aim to improve the health and well-being of children and their families by providing educational and social services, as well as creating and keeping track of a health record for every child. These Centers are also accessible facilities, equipped to insure the inclusion of children with disabilities. Moreover, the centers also provide job opportunities for many facilitators who have been adequately trained on early childhood development approaches, to guarantee a broad and sustainable impact for a better future for the society.

The aforementioned endeavor comes in line with RMHC Egypt’s mission, which is based on studying the needs and challenges of our society to identify, assess, then prioritize community needs, so as to optimize the use of resources. It’s also worth mentioning, that RMHC Egypt is currently planning to expand and launch more Centers of Excellence for Early Childhood Development in other governorates, the coming period.
