Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) awarded accreditation to our laboratory here at GluCare.Health based on results of a recent on-site inspection conducted by CAP inspectors. The inspection team included practicing pathology and laboratory medicine professionals.

The CAP advised Dr. Yousef Said, MD, of this national recognition and congratulated the laboratory for its excellence in the services being provided. GluCare.Health is one of more than 8,000 CAP-accredited facilities worldwide.

“This recognition is a testament to our commitment to providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients. Our team of professionals work tirelessly to ensure that every test we perform is accurate, reliable, and timely. This accreditation reaffirms our dedication to excellence and our mission to improve the health and wellbeing of our community," said Dr. Yousef Said.

Dr Ihsan Al Marzooqi, Co-Founder and Manager Director, upon learning of the laboratory’s accreditation, said: “We are thrilled to receive this accreditation from the College of American Pathologists. We designed a super-efficient workflow at GluCare.Health which includes rapid laboratory testing, and the accreditation is a reflection of our team’s hard work and commitment to providing the highest quality laboratory services to our patients. ”

The U.S. federal government recognizes the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program, begun in the early 1960s, as being equal-to or more-stringent-than the government’s own inspection program.

During the CAP accreditation process, designed to ensure the highest standard of care for all laboratory patients, inspectors examine the laboratory’s records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. CAP inspectors also examine laboratory staff qualifications, equipment, facilities, safety program and record, and overall management.

“The CAP is pleased to recognize GluCare.Health as meeting the high standard set as part of the CAP’s Laboratory Accreditation Program,” said Richard M. Scanlan, MD, FCAP, chair of the CAP’s Council on Accreditation. “GluCare.Health joins the thousands of others that are committed to raising the quality of laboratory services nationally and internationally.”

“The CAP congratulates GluCare.Health on its recent CAP Accreditation,” said Richard M. Scanlan, MD, FCAP, chair of the CAP’s Council on Accreditation. “GluCare.Health is committed, as is the CAP, to the constant surveillance of laboratory quality for the benefit of the patient and the physician who treats the patient.”

“GluCare.Health demonstrates leadership, innovation, and a passionate commitment to standards of excellence while providing the highest quality services, ultimately for patients,” said Richard M. Scanlan, MD, FCAP, chair of the CAP’s Council on Accreditation. “The CAP congratulates GluCare.Health on its recent CAP Accreditation.”

Congratulations to the pathology and laboratory medicine team for this significant accomplishment that further demonstrates our commitment to high-quality patient care at GluCare.Health.
