Gastronomical delight for food lovers

One of the highlights of the Ramadan experience this year is the highly anticipated food festival at Al Qasba, one of Shurooq's destinations. During the 10-day festival from March 30 to April 8, Al Qasba Food Festival 2023 will host a variety of food-related activities, professional chef competitions, workshops, and roaming entertainment, providing an unforgettable experience for families and food lovers.

The festival, with the slogan "A World of Flavors," will showcase street food pavilions, designed to reflect the shape of different cultures, and featuring retail and F&B kiosks. Visitors can enjoy a selection of food and beverages from around the world, including traditional meet & greet ceremonies symbolising the start of the festival.

The festival will also feature a professional chef arena, where celebrity chefs will display their talents. Roaming entertainment and food mascots will add to the festive atmosphere. Competitions will be held in different segments such as ice-carving, fruit-carving, chocolate carving, bread decoration to name a few.

Along with the food festival, a fitness series will also kick off at Al Qasba, with a free health check-ups for all visitors.

Additionally, Khorfakkan Beach will also feature a Ramadan Fitness programme, allowing visitors to stay active during the Holy Month.

This Ramadan, Al Noor Island offers a one-of-a-kind experience for visitors to enjoy an unforgettable ‘Iftar by the Bay’. Indulge in a delectable meal while immersing in the beauty of the island's natural surroundings, making for a truly unique dining experience. The package — AED 180 per adult and AED 95 per child — gives access to the butterfly house, where one can marvel at the beauty of these delicate creatures in their natural habitat. The sky watch session with an experienced educator is also included, allowing you to learn more about the stars and constellations above. This is a shared camp experience, where guests will have their own tables for dinner, ensuring a safe and enjoyable time for all. The tickets are priced at AED 250 per adult and AED 150 per child.
