The MAXIMO Middle East User Group Conference, which will be held in Dubai from October 15 to 16, 2003, will highlight the success stories of different business enterprises in deploying MRO Software’s MAXIMO solution that allows customers to manage the complete life cycle of strategic assets.

Tejari, the Middle East online marketplace and a key participant in the MAXIMO Middle East User Group Conference, will be among the top companies sharing its experience in integrating high-end e-business solutions into its e-marketplace to boost its online procurement services to its clients.

The experience of how Dubai Ports Authority (DPA) leveraged the strengths of MRO Software solutions for integration with the Tejari marketplace will be highlighted as one of the successful applications in the region.

The conference is being organized by MRO Software, a leading provider of e-Business solutions for strategic asset management. MRO Software has over 10,000 users for its MAXIMO solution in the Middle East.

“As the leading online marketplace that provides an integrated platform for cost-effective and speedy procurement processes, Tejari banks on best of breed solutions to meet customer expectations,” said Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, CEO of Tejari, while speaking at a press conference to announce the MAXIMO Middle East User Group Conference. “We are constantly exploring more effective solutions that will enable us to deliver top-level performance. As strategic asset management is a key factor in enabling cost-effective procurement, we are pleased to associate ourselves with this conference. We will use the event to share our experiences with the participants and build stronger business relations with MRO as a provider of leading-edge asset management solutions.”

“Tejari’s experience in powering the region’s leading companies and public corporations to migrate their procurement processes to online platforms is best exemplified by the results achieved by DPA using the MRO Software solution. The combination of the analytical tools provided by Tejari and MRO Software’s solution have not only speeded up the procurement process but also opened the doors for more suppliers and enabled DPA to get more attractive deals on supplies,” said Sheikha Lubna.

Sheikha Lubna will be among the leading speakers at the MAXIMO Middle East User Group Conference on October 15 and 16, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel and will speak on “Increased Procurement Efficiency through Online Marketplace Connectivity.”

Jack Young, Executive Vice President, Products & Technology, MRO Software, who will deliver the keynote address, said: “The MAXIMO Middle East User Group is pleased to welcome Tejari, the dynamic online marketplace in the Middle East, as a key participant in this user group conference which will be a meeting ground for all MRO Software users in the region.
