Consolidated Gulf Co. CGC has delivered TETRA radios to ADCC JV, Sky Oryx JV, Sinohydro Gamuda, Eversendai, Punz Lyod and Anel Electrical Contacting Co., which are using these vital communication sets for hassle-free group communications at NDIA project sites, so as to complete the construction work on time. CGC-supplied TETRA radio sets, which are very effective in the construction industry for smooth group communications and to increase efficiency, connectivity and coordination among workers, are proving to be very useful for the companies engaged in the construction of NDIA, which is expected to open for traffic by 2010.
Nikolaos Rigas, Dep. Project Manager at ADCC, a joint venture of Aktor, Al Darwish, Costruzioni Cimolai Armando and Cybarco, thanked CGC for prompt supply of TETRA radio sets. Sky Oryx JV, which is involved in the construction of the Passenger Terminal Complex, one of the biggest projects in NDIA, is finding TERTA radios very handy to coordinate among engineers and operators. Masahiro Matsushita, Construction Manager, said, "These radios are safe, even if you operate near various sensitive equipments being used in the construction. As our project site is vast, we are using Sepura TETRA radios to remain connected. CGC's highly-skilled personnel are fully taking care of our after-sales requirements as well".
TETRA radios are also helping the runways' builders in quick coordination within the sites which are spread over a long area, said NG Yoon Peng, Pavement Manager of Syno-Hydro Gamoda JV, a Malaysian company involved in the construct of world-class runways for NDIA.
