Amman, 14 August 2011 - In keeping with global IT trends, Capital Bank recently launched a smartphone-compatible version of its website in order to provide its clients with top quality services quickly and efficiently.

"We at Capital Bank are very proud to be among the first banking institutions in Jordan to launch a mobile-friendly website. Now, not only does our website offer first-rate banking services that exceed our clients' expectations, but it also acts as a window into Capital Bank's business and serves as an important channel of communication between the bank and our website visitors," said Haytham Kamhiyah, the bank's General Manager.

Capital Bank's mobile website was designed with Internet security standards in mind and using a smartphone-compatible programming language in order to ensure easy website navigation and information access. The website also features a map of the bank's branch and ATM network across Jordan on Google Earth.

It is worth noting that in November 2011, Capital Bank won the Best Interactivity Award under the Financial Institutions Category during the 2nd Banking Web Awards Competition.
