Canon's 44 inch Production machines report 20% sales growth in 2010

Participation in Sign and Graphics Imaging 2011 to further consolidate LFP market share

Dubai, UAE, 25 January 2011: Canon Middle East, along with its partner, Multisystem Technology, has announced its participation at the annual Sign and Graphics Imaging (SGI) 2011, the Middle East's specialist event dedicated to signage, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries. Canon will showcase its flagship imagePROGRAF Large Format Printers during the three day event.

Showcasing its flagship imagePROGRAF range including models, such as the iPF8300, the line up will offer digital print companies further reason to invest in digital technology to increase the breadth, attractiveness and profitability of their product offerings.

"We have an incredibly strong printer line-up in terms of technology, performance and range which reaffirms our position in the LFP industry. As an innovator in the digital professional print segment, it is natural for Canon to have a presence at the region's dedicated sign and graphics event. Canon's 44 inch production machines have been very popular in 2010 and accounted a strong 20% growth in sales. Our participation in SGI 2011 will ensure that we continue this trend and further consolidate our LFP market share in 2011," said Vishal Gohel, Product Manager, Canon Middle East.

"SGI is the best opportunity for us to cater to this growing market, offering digital print customers scalable but resilient solutions that can grow in tandem with their demands.  Our participation at SGI serves as a further indication of Canon's efforts in delivering innovative products that meet our customers' needs," added Gohel.

Canon Middle East is exhibiting its iPF range at the the Multisystem Technology stand at Dubai Airport Expo.
