Dubai - July 2, 2007: Arabtec and Besix have announced that concrete works on the Burj Dubai Lake Hotel development is over three months ahead of schedule. In acknowledgement of this achievement, a ceremony at Al Manzil Hotel (Banquet Hall), Burj Dubai Boulevard was held.
The Burj Dubai Lake Hotel & Serviced Apartments is a luxury skyscraper that is set to rise 306 meters (1,004 feet), adjacent to the Dubai Mall, the world's largest shopping and entertainment complex. Developed by Emaar, this mixed-use tower will contain a total of 63 floors upon completion and is a part of the mega-development Burj Dubai
The project which directly overlooks the Burj Dubai Lake and faces the Old Town is three months ahead of schedule on its concrete topping out, where the Main contractor Arabtec and Besix have been collaborating together through a joint venture. The consultants are W.S Atkins and the development managers project managers and quantity surveyors are Mirage Mille Leisure & Development.
The project progress and eventual completion will become a reference point in the development of the new Dubai said Riad Kamal, Managing Director of Arabtec Holding PJSC. The Burj Dubai Lake skyscraper is by every definition an epic development that brings the biggest names in the real estate industry together in unison, to deliver a ground breaking and luxurious project.

The over 1.3 Billion AED project has a selection of self-contained one to four bedroom finished apartments five star hotel guest rooms, restaurants, conference and banquet halls. As an integral part of the Burj Dubai District in the center of Downtown Dubai, the 500-acre project rests in the heart of the Emirate and is within close proximity to its main business and commercial areas.
