Borouge has been awarded four international certificates in recognition of its strong commitment to ensuring employees’ health and safety at workplaces and effectively managing its quality performance and reliable control of environmental impacts.
Borouge has been awarded two OHSAS 18001:2007 certificates in recognition of its Occupational Health & Safety Management System. The certificates were handed over to Borouge by ABS Quality Evaluations, a USA-based international certification and auditing body, upon auditing the rigorous implementation of Borouge’s Health & Safety Management System upholding its commitment to safe operations at the Company’s plants in Ruwais as well as its offices across the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.
Another two ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certificates were granted by RINA Services to the Borouge Innovation Centre in recognition of its quality and environmental management systems. The certification helps companies have a systematic approach to continuous improvement of their operations, customer satisfaction, environmental controls and effective, corrective and preventive actions on the identified and potential nonconformities.
