Muscat - Omani franchise partner, Bin Mirza International (BMI), brought home four awards from the fifth edition of the Second Cup International Conference that was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In recognition of adopting and upholding best practices, BMI received the Marketing, Operating Standard and Sustainability Awards, with Hani Ali Mirza, the company's Partner and Managing Director, receiving the Honorary Achievement Award.

Receiving the Marketing Award for innovative and efficient operational and marketing techniques, BMI will continue adapting tried-and-tested international practices to the Omani market to differentiate Second Cup from its competitors. Second Cup Oman was also one of four entries in the running for the Operating Standard Award, winning for going above and beyond across all business categories, from people and service to quality and environment.

Second Cup Oman took home a third award for implementing innovative methods for self-sufficiency, carbon footprint reduction and community health improvements. These programs include annual Earth Hour events and the 'Earth Day Campaign' that supports Second Cup International's 'Plant a Tree' project.
In addition, Partner and Managing Director of Bin Mirza International, Hani Ali Mirza, was honored by Second Cup International for over a decade of outstanding service and brand excellence, receiving the Honorary Achievement Award. This special award is bestowed to individuals who inspire the Second Cup family with their dedication, passion and belief in the brand.
Bin Mirza International will continue to focus its efforts towards the development of Second Cup Oman as a popular and trusted brand. Opening the first Second Cup cafe in 2004, BMI has since expanded the brand's presence in Oman with eight cafes and plans to open additional outlets throughout the country.
