New BenQ LCD monitor offers enhanced functionality and exquisite design

Continuing the distinction of being an industry leader in LCD monitor (LCDM), BenQ will roll out an ultra slim V2400W "premium" LCD display in the Middle East with the claim that it's the world's slimmest 24-inch widescreen monitor.

Exquisitely slim, the V2400W is only 2.44-inches at its thickest point, making it the world's thinnest 24" widescreen LCD - more than 21 per cent slimmer than the next thinnest LCDM.

According to the company it will "create a new lifestyle trend in computer hardware design that targets the sophisticated, stylish consumer". The new product has been drawn up for the style conscious business professional looking for that sophisticated tool that combines enhanced functionality and elegance.

The iF Design Award (a prestigious and coveted recognition of outstanding design that is vied for by the world's most elite companies) winning offering combines "unexpected asymmetry and the aerodynamic curves of the B-2 stealth bomber" and is the first in a new "Kinergy" design range from BenQ.

"The BenQ brand has long stood for innovation in design and technology with products engineered for superior performance and optimum lifestyle enhancement.  Leveraging our legacy of superior picture quality and success with LCDM innovations, we are excited about the Middle East debut of the world's slimmest LCD monitor," said Manish Bakshi, General Manager of BenQ Middle East and Africa.

"The new product underscores our strong belief that the world's slimmest LCD monitor delivers enhanced functionality without sacrificing on advanced specs or sophisticated designing. The launch of innovative and ground-breaking V2400W further strengthens our product line and brings unparalled technology to the region," he added.

A subtle blue LED and slick touch controls elegantly accent the LCD monitor.

The new V2400W takes that reputation, company mission and industry as a whole one step further - creating a new level of consumer expectation and desire. It boasts specs that include a 4000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, full 1080p HD support, touch controls and an overall mirror-black finish.

The V2400W is priced at AED 2099 and will be available across the Middle East Market from July 08.
