Display range will Save 25% More Energy, Emit 25% Less CO2

UAE: With environmental concerns fast becoming a major concern, BenQ Middle East continues to distinguish its brand from the competition with innovation and industry-leading technologies by introducing its 'Go Green' range of LCD monitors. This includes BenQ's "ultra-green" 16:9 720p models for reduced environmental impact and enhanced cost-performance.

The Go Green E900HD and G900HD monitors distinguish BenQ from the competition by offering reduced environmental impact and enhanced cost-performance. Employing a unique 2-lamp design that still achieves the same bright 300 nits that 4-lamp models do; the Go Green monitors use up to 25% less energy and offer reduced carbon dioxide emissions of up to 25% and an impressive mercury emission reduction of up to 50%.

These two new models complement BenQ's HD 16:9 LCD Series released earlier this month, and transplant HD visual enjoyment from living room to desktop gaming, work, and video watching.

"This new range of 'Go Green' HD LCD monitors is really the best option for consumers who want to experience the luxury of HD viewing in all aspects of their daily life without compromising on the environment aspects," said Manish Bakshi, General Manager, Middle East and Africa, BenQ.

"Both E900 HD and G900 HD have been designed not just to resonate BenQ's leadership in visual display with the latest 16:9 format and smart user essentials, but also reflects BenQ's dedication to environmental responsibility. We are confident that the Go Green range of products will assist us to further our commitment to a sustainable future and continually reducing its impact on the environment."

The  new E and G 18.5" multimedia/Non Multimedia models are designed for various  work and gaming applications which are beautifully displayed via a smooth 5ms response time, 720p high definition, and Senseye™+photo, a proprietary digital image enhancement engine that fine-tunes picture quality per application with five preset modes - Standard, Dynamic, Photo, Movie and sRGB. These models will set a new trend in digital lifestyle enjoyment by expanding HD viewing application from limited living room use to boundless possibilities in the study, office, classroom, bedroom, kitchen, and more

BenQ remains on the leading edge of the 16:9 format trend by launching the world's first 21.5" Full HD model earlier this month. The newly Launched BenQ E  M &T Series includes the E2200HD/HDA,T2200HD/HDA ,M2200HDA Full HD models for the ultimate home multimedia experience.

"The range really has something to suit everybody, the Full HD 21.5" offers uncompromised enjoyment of high definition content for home and office use and our Go Green models use less energy and emit less carbon dioxide and mercury than conventional monitors."

"16:9 aspect ratio and 1080p is fast becoming the new global standard in monitor design and our research indicates that LCD monitor use is starting to replace the use of small size TVs in the home.
