JJW Hotels & Resorts, who recently acquired the Berners Hotel in London, announced that its French hotel subsidiary, JJ France, has acquired the four star Le Beau Manoir Hotel and the three star Le Lido Hotel in Paris for a total price of 19 million (UK12 million).
The Beau Manoir Hotel and the Lido Hotel were built in the 1930s and are traditional Parisian hotels. Each hotel has 32 rooms and are located in the famous Madeleine quarter, close to l'Op and The Place de la Concorde.
Following the acquisition of these two hotels, JJW Hotels & Resorts now has 36 hotels in Europe: 32 in France, one in Austria, two in Turkey, and the Berners Hotel in London. "These two hotels complement a number of our existing hotels. Their style is one of tradition and elegance," says Sheikh Al Jaber. "2001 was an active year for our Group with the acquisition of the Berners Hotel, London as well as other hotel acquisitions in the French Riviera, Paris, and Geneva Airport.
The investment in these two hotels shows our continued support to the hotel sector and our continued expansion plans for further hotel investments in Europe.
