Batelco is delighted to announce that all 16 candidates participating in a six month CCNA course at Batelco's Cisco Academy have passed track 1 with high marks. Along with 12 Batelco staff members, the group includes 4 unemployed girls nominated by the Ministry of Labour who have been offered scholarships by Batelco.
The Cisco Academy, located at Batelco's Hamala Headquarters was opened earlier this year following the signing of an agreement between Batelco, Cisco and BTI (Bahrain Training Institute). The Academy aims to boost the networking skills of a large number of trainees each year and provide fully qualified local talent with CCNA qualifications, to support the telecom and networking industry in Bahrain.
"We are very proud of this successful start for the new training facility and also delighted to be helping young Bahrainis to attain their career goals by offering the scholarships," said Batelco Corporate Affairs General Manager Ahmed Al Janahi.
