The Customer Service Unit at Batelco has named and rewarded six of its employees as 'Batelco's Quarterly Stars', as part of the company's ongoing employee rewards programme designed to recognize extra effort and enhance employee satisfaction.

The list of rewardees included Dawood Oriqat, Mohammed Hilal, Abduljabbar Al-Asfoor, Sara Amer , Jassim Mohammed, and Abdulrahman Mahmood . The six employees were honoured at a party held under the patronage of Abdulahed Zaainal, General Manager Customer Services at Batelco. The event was also attended by Abdulrahman Al-Awadhi (Manger Customer Service Channels and Retail Shops), Mohammed Al- Mukhtar (Senior Manager Corporate Contact Centre), Radhi Abdulaal (Manager Business Systems Development & Analysis) Amal Dhaif (Regional Customer Service Channels & Retail Manager), and Atifa Ali Bin Rajab (Communication Development Specialist).

"Such efforts and dedication make the company strong and ensures leverage on our competitors in the marketplace," says Abdulahed Zaainal, General Manager Customer Services at Batelco.

"Your company now requires your efforts more than any time in the past and they are certainly appreciated by all at all levels," he elaborates.

Abdulrahman Al-Awadhi, Manger Customer Service Channels and Retail Shops, thanked the honoured staff by saying "Your managers have selected you for the title for several reasons; your excellent efforts, achievements, high performance that made you set examples for other collogues".  "This recognition comes in response to the excellent comments that we received from both the customers and supervisors praising your behaviours, attitude, and ownership".

The Batelco "Quarterly Star" programme is one of a number of rewarding initiatives that are designed to recognise and reward employees financially and to boost their morale. Winners of the Award are presented with a certificate of appreciation and a cheque and receive the highest praise from senior management and Board Members.
