Batelco has announced a bi-lateral Commercial International Roaming Agreement with another major telecoms player, Djibouti Telecom in Djibouti, giving Batelco mobile users better than ever coverage whilst roaming in Djibouti.
Djibouti Telecom operates a GSM 900 service with a handset display of Evatis. Batelco's mobile customers will be automatically connected with the service upon arrival in the country.
The service, which went live on 18th August, forms part of Batelco's commitment to ensure that its mobile customers are among the most 'connected' around the globe.
Batelco now has roaming agreements with 300 operators around the world for all roaming services.
