Within the framework of executing BARWA's training plans

Doha, Qatar July 28th, 2008: BARWA Real Estate, one of the premier organizations in the State of Qatar, hosted a Procurement Management Course (PMC) from 20 to 23 July 2008 at Sheraton Doha Hotel & Resort.

More than 20 trainees, including Deputy Directors, Supervisors and Heads of Department, participated in the program. The course covered areas related to the procurement mechanisms including identifying of the corporate needs, methods of purchasing and negotiating processes.

Furthermore, the course offered in depth information about the changes in purchasing skills caused by the rapidly growing free market. The focus was on allocating certain activities in order to optimize the benefits from local and international suppliers aiming to achieve service quality, price competitiveness and cost reduction.

The four day PMC was conducted by Prof. Emaduddin Hussein, holder of PhD in International Business Law, London University and supervised by Mr. Ibrahim Mahmoud, Training & Development Manager in BARWA Real Estate.  

Participants in the program included Suleiman Ahmad Shihadah, Ibrahim Juma'a Al Jussaimani, Raed Nasha'at Al Jarah, Ahmad Mohammed Eskandar, Abdulla Abdulhadi Al Hagri, Jassim Mohammed Fahri, Ethlal Mohammed Ibrahim, Awad Dafu'allah Al Sonosei, Nasser Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Dana Abdulaziz Al Ansari, Hamad Mohammed Nasser Al Nuaimi, Mohammed Hafiz Al Jowahri, Emad Mufleh Abu Tuaima, Amina Mohammed Al Ali, Hassan Ali Al Fudaili, Ahmad Suwar Mahmoud, Talal Maiuf Al Anzi, Bahr Amin Jamil Abu Aysha, Abdullatif Sharif Makinshahi, Ahmed Mohammed Hamdan abu Jalala.
