Muscat - In recognition of its outstanding performance in the execution of commercial and financial payments in U.S. Dollar, BankDhofar has received the 'Straight-Through-Processing (STP) Excellence Award' from CITI

The award was handed over to Mohammed Iqbal Al Balushi, AGM & Head of Operations & Support Services at BankDhofar, by Mohamed Al Hammadi, Vice President of Correspondent Banking Group at CITI, at BankDhofar Head Office in CBD area, and was attended by Abdul Hakeem Al Ojaili, BankDhofar's Acting CEO, Kamal Al Marazza, Chief Wholesale Banking Officer, Bashir Said Al Subhi, BankDhofar AGM & Head of Treasury and International Banking, Shaleen Chugh, AGM & Head of Corporate Banking, Saikumar Sukumaran, Head of Financial Institutions, and Cynthia Oueiss Assistant Vice President of Financial Institutions at CITI.

CITI presents the STP Award annually to banks and financial institutions that showcase exceptional quality and also meet the highest global standards for automatic processing of international payments in U.S. Dollar. For the second year in a row, BankDhofar was presented this recognition for automatic processing of international payments in U.S. Dollars. Earlier, the bank received the STP Award for financial payments in Euro by the Germany-based Commerzbank.
