Muscat, 05 August 2015: In recognition of its outstanding performance in the execution of commercial and financial payments in U.S. Dollar, BankDhofar has received the prestigious 'Straight-Through-Processing (STP) Excellence Award' from CITI for the Bank's 97%+ treasury payments STP rate.
CITI presents the STP Award annually to banks and financial institutions that showcase exceptional quality and also meet the highest global standards for automatic processing of international payments in U.S. Dollar. Earlier this year BankDhofar was presented another STP Award for automatic processing of international payments in Euro by the Germany-based Commerzbank.
The accolade was handed over to Kamal Al Marazza, Chief Wholesale Banking Officer, by Mohamed Al Hammadi, Vice President of Correspondent Banking Group at CITI, at BankDhofar Head Office in CBD area, and was attended by Bashir Said Al Subhi, BankDhofar AGM -Treasury & International Banking, and Cynthia Oueiss from CITI.
