Gold Sponsor for the third year

Isa Town, 14 November 2010: Bahrain Polytechnic, the Kingdom's leading professional and technical training institution, took part in the highly successful Bahrain Career Expo 2010 that took place at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) from 9-11 November. The aim of the Expo, which is in its 10th year, was to enhance student's and jobseeker's understanding of the professional world and to offer a platform for them to select the best training options to allow them to succeed in their chosen careers.

The Bahrain Polytechnic booth at the Career Expo was visited by hundreds of enthusiastic high school students, who were given information on the relevancy and international accreditation of the Bahrain Polytechnic courses and degree options.  The students learnt about the Bahrain Polytechnic's world-class facility and their policy of engaging with the job market in every sector, to ensure that skill sets of their graduates are a perfect match for the demands of the job market for the foreseeable future.

Bahrain Polytechnic engages in a range of sponsorships and other initiatives designed to align the graduates with the exact requirements of the job market.  This entails a close partnership with industry and businesses that enables students to experience firsthand what work is like in various sectors in Bahrain, thus making their study relevant to real life.  It also exposes prospective employers to the students as they work towards their graduation, and positions the students as employees of choice for a range of companies and organisations in both the public and private sectors.  This mission is in line with the Kingdom's Economic Vision 2030 which mandates the role of education reform as a cornerstone of the move towards a knowledge-based economy.
