Managers of several Austrian car manufacturers have expressed their readiness in expanding cooperation with Iran Khodro Industrial Group.
The Austrian managers were part of a larger delegation accompanying Austria president in his visit to Iran.
The managers expressed the wonder that they felt about the technological development of Iran Khodor after visiting different parts of its site. Almost all of them announced their intention to promote their cooperation with IKCO.
Executive Vice President of Global Business Development, Sales & International Operations of AVL Hannes Schmüser called for further cooperation between his company and Iran Khodro in the development of power trains (combustion engines, transmissions, hybrid systems, electric drive) as well as simulation and test systems for passenger cars, trucks and marine engines.
He went on citing engineering systems, suspension systems, stimulation equipment in OAM and other relative platforms as other possible fields of cooperation between AVL and Iran Khodro in future.
Meanwhile, Sales Manager of KrawzMazor called for cooperation with IKCO in technology and automation systems to design and develop transmission equipment.
Project Manager of AppAustria said there are appropriate grounds for cooperation between his company and IKCO. He called for a detailed plan to open a new phase of cooperation between the two sides.
Diotron's representative called Iran Khodro a great car manufacturer working at a global level and expressed his company's interest in cooperation with IKCO.
"We are ready to work with IKCO in the development, production and sales of new testing and advanced measurement systems," he said.
Marketing Manager of another Austrian company showed the company readiness to begin cooperation with IKCO. He said that the two sides can now work together in developing gearbox and transmission systems for normal and hybrid engines.
President Deputy in Strategy and Planning in IKCO highlighted the recent cooperation between IKCO and Citroen Peugeot saying: The cooperation could lead to closer ties with other Austrian car manufactures.
Austria is seeking to expand its economic ties with Iran after a nuclear deal reached between Tehran and P5+1 group of countries in July. Auto industry is among the main fields in which Austria is interested to enhance its cooperation with Iran.
