Yalumba Launches Exciting New Theme 'Nights'

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Taking contemporary South East Asian and European cuisine to a whole new level - Oz style - Yalumba, Le Mridien Dubai's upbeat Australian restaurant, has announced the introduction of two special 'themed' nights.

Lucky diners who join the lively crowd at Yalumba on a Thursday night will benefit from an all-you-can-eat la carte/buffet menu. With unlimited food and drink - including lashings of the house champagne, Mme. Bollinger - entertainment continues well into the night with DJ Mario spinning his tunes on the dance floor after supper. The official dining hours run from 8.30pm - 11.30pm and cost Dhs.299 per person; a 'Happy Hour' (drinks minus a 30% discount) runs between 11.30pm and 01.30am.

For those after a more formal culinary experience, native Australian Chef Ivan, will be hosting long table wine dinners every 4th Saturday of the month at Yalumba. Including a selection of antipodeans specialities, the long table dinners will feature the finest Western Australian wine and are priced at AED 370 per person. The dress code is 'formal' and dinner is served between 8.00pm and 11.30pm.

Combining hearty food with live entertainment, Yalumba has recently secured numerous awards including the 'Best New-Comer' accolade at the annual What's On awards ceremony. Using traditional ingredients from his homeland, Chef Ivan's food has become synonymous with his own sense of style and adventure; his most popular dishes include 'Chilli Crab Falafel', seared scallops and 'Roquefort Panna Cotta'.

"Australian food is both vibrant and exotic. Relying on the very best ingredients, the cuisine is influenced from around the globe. With its extensive and innovative selection, Yalumba's menu is designed to cater to every sector of Dubai's cosmopolitan society," Chef Ivan concluded.

Dinner at Yalumba is available every evening from 7.30 pm-11.00 pm.

Brunch is served on Friday and is available for AED 299 per person.
