Doha, Qatar: Aspire Logistics continues to receive international recognition for its services, receiving the International Star Award in the Gold Category during a gala ceremony at the 27th International World Quality Commitment Convention in Paris.
A member of the Aspire Zone Foundation, Aspire Logistics claimed the award which was decided on the basis of World Quality Convention regulations and criteria of the QC100 Total Quality Management Model.
Aspire Logistics and other companies who received awards were recognized as being distinguished local and national leaders demonstrating excellence in their sector in the areas quality awareness and promoting a quality culture.
Jose E. Prieto, President of Business Initiative Directions in Paris acknowledged "The strong commitment of Aspire Logistics to the highest level services in terms of quality, technology and professionalism to accomplish outstanding results in the logistics for sports events & facilities management."
The ceremony was attended by representatives of companies from many countries, together with leaders from different business fields, professionals from a variety of industries, quality experts, academic personalities and representatives from the diplomatic community.
Director General of Aspire Logistics Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Mahmoud accepted the award and said, "Aspire Logistics in honoured to receive this recognition. We strive to continuously improve the quality of our services to customers and improve relations with employees, suppliers and all our stakeholders. We are extremely proud that our work has been independently recognised by a panel that includes companies that have previously received the award."
The awards are organised by B.I.D who help companies striving for continuous quality improvement to achieve their goals and set an example for the rest of the business community.
The voting process was carried out during the B.I.D World Congress with meetings in Paris, London, Geneva, Frankfurt, Madrid and New York over the past ten months.
Aspire Logistics' commitment to being a leader in quality culture is already recognised having received three international certificates in Facilities Management (ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System, ISO 14001: 2004 Environmental Management System, and OHSAS 18001: 2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
Aspire Logistics was recently recognised for providing outstanding cleaning services, receiving an award of recognition from The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) in London.
