Aramex's domestic service customers can now track their domestic shipments as well as their international shipments. By entering the 9 digit airway bill number on the Aramex website, the shipment's location and status will be instantly shown thereby saving the customer both time and energy.
"We are the only company in the area offering this truly unique service. Aramex has over 12 years of tried and true system tracking experience; as a result the domestic tracking service came as a natural progression. We developed an in house system based on the international tracking system and produced a unique service for our domestic customers" said Samer Awajan, Chief Technology Architect at Aramex.
The service is currently being offered in Jordan, UAE, Bahrain, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, but will eventually reach the entire Aramex network.
Tracking technologies are creating viable business opportunities for the company. Aramex is currently developing electronic fulfillment solutions, via order fulfillment and back end solutions for eCommerce companies; tracking systems are essential for such developments.
