Dubai, UAE - "CHALLENGE OUR HOSPITALITY" is the theme taken up by "Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa" to celebrate the U.A.E National Day this year. The hotel will hold week long celebrations of local architecture, history and cuisine starting November 29, 2007.

There will be traditional displays to enjoy and venerate the U.A.E culture and traditions. The hotel and restaurant ambience will be adorned with Arabic music, food, displays of items to reflect the old way of living and an art exhibition in the lobby by a local based artist, Zareen Khan.

The scent of Bakhour will welcome guests in the lobby to revert their mood from the present era to the old times and certainly guests who yearn to complete the experience will be delighted to take advantage of the traditional cuisine prepared at the "Bastakiya Café & Restaurant" located at the Mezzanine floor of the hotel.

Apart from the celebrations at the hotel, "The Orient Guest House", a traditional local guest house operated by the hotel in historic bastakiya area, will also provide a window to the past of U.A.E. The beautiful courtyard at the guest house will turn out to be a fishing village along with traditional rooms & a Majlis will stand out from the rest. The guests will be given a chance to relive the history of U.A.E with guided tours organized by the hotel to the guest house.

Says Habib Khan, General Manager of Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa as well as Orient Guest House "It was always our endeavor to offer a traditional experience to visitors and residents alike. With this in mind, we have created two unique hotels offering a reflection into the rich history and architecture of the U.A.E. We hope our efforts in celebrating the National Day in it's true spirit will be appreciated by all those who visit us".

Overlooking the 200 year old Dubai fort and the Ruler's Court along the Dubai Creek, the Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa is an essence of local traditions with it's themed exterior and interiors and walking distance to the historic Dubai Creek, with its influx of tourists and traders as well as a haven of contemporary comforts in a traditional ambiance.

Set amidst ancient wind towers, souqs and Abras (water-taxis), the hotel promises tourists and visitors, the real Dubai experience in the Bastakiya, the last bastion of a bygone era.
