10th edition scheduled to take place on 3-5 November 2014 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Qatar

Dubai, UAE - 8 June 2014: Fleming Gulf, organisers of market-leading conferences across the GCC, has announced that the 10th Annual HSE Forum in Energy will take place on 3-5 November 2014 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Qatar.

As the principal platform for vital and relevant discussions on health, safety and environment processes that greatly affect the energy sector, HSE professionals from across Qatar, the region and beyond are invited to participate and benefit from the highly charged presentations and discussions from this year's powerhouse lineup of expert resource persons.

The conference supported exhibition event is endorsed by international organizations and associations such as the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the British Safety Council, Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), The Chartered Society for Worker Health Protection (BOHS) and the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), with several more to come.

Under the main theme 'Reinventing HSE DNA', the 2014 edition of the conference will focus on vital, and up-to-date subjects such as Insights into Typical HSE Ingredients and Characteristics, Key Focus in Front Line Leadership, Process Safety as a Pathway to Sustainable Future, Preparing for the Unexpected-Planning for the Future, Optimising Corporate social Responsibility Through Responsible Environment Assessment System, and Learn How to Run a 'Healthy' Business.

"The relevance and importance of this conference to the future of HSE processes in the energy sector are paramount to regional and global sustainability goals," said Ranjith Paul, Managing Director, Fleming Gulf. "It is therefore our desire to reach out to a wider audience of HSE professionals who are deeply involved in the implementation and practice of operational standards from across the region and beyond to come, listen and learn for the experts. Furthermore, they will also have an opportunity to share and participate in the discussions that will continuously shape the future of HSE best practices.

"As we look forward to more support and participation of highly respected HSE experts from around the world, relevant HSE government authorities and regulatory bodies, as well as concerned private sector organisations, we wish to express our sincerest gratitude to those who, as early as now, have already signified their positive response and commitment to be among the key speakers at the conference.

"Undoubtedly, we all have a stake at ensuring a healthy, safe and environmentally sound business practice," he added. "It is therefore our aim to promote continued discussions on HSE to help foster a consistently healthy, safe and environment-friendly operation across the energy sector."

As last year's event saw the participation of 25 exhibitors, 365 delegates and 45 speakers from 22 countries, a survey conducted by event organisers revealed that 88 per cent of attendees rated it as excellent and good to their business.
