Amadeus e-Travel Management to help Middle East corporations achieve a higher adoption rate thanks to its new workflow redesign and improved look and feel
The new mobile booking app to enable efficiency and continuity of service for travellers on the road
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 20 November, 2012
Amadeus, a leading technology partner for the global travel industry, has announced the launch of a new User Interface (UI) for its online corporate travel booking tool, e-Travel Management (AeTM), as well as its latest mobile booking application, Amadeus e-Travel Management Mobile. The initiatives aim to facilitate a streamlined and enhanced booking process for all stakeholders in the travel value chain across the Middle East as well as globally.
Used by over 6,000 corporations in 59 markets globally, AeTM empowers corporations to reduce costs and gain total control of every aspect of the corporate travel process. With a completely new workflow design, the tool will now streamline the booking process itself, making it easier and faster to search, book, review and approve. These changes, coupled with a new look and feel, enable travellers and travel arrangers to make their way through the booking process more intuitively and seamlessly, saving time on tasks.
The new intuitive experience, which is closer to the flow that travellers are used to on leisure websites, allows for a higher acceptance of the company travel programme while reducing the need for heavy management and mandating processes, hence driving business costs down.
In conjunction with the launch of the new UI, Amadeus presented its mobile booking application, Amadeus e-Travel Management Mobile, which will be available to users in the next few months. The new tool allows travellers to make new air and rail bookings via their mobile devices including iPhone and Android, ensuring efficiency and continuity of service for travellers on the road.
Antoine Medawar, Vice President, Middle East and North Africa, Amadeus, said: "Over the years Amadeus has consistently prioritized the need to invest in innovative products and solutions to address the needs of our diverse customer base and provide them with access to the best technology. The fast evolving corporate travel sector has prompted us to enhance our portfolio of solutions and introduce the new UI and mobile application that will facilitate greater efficiency in the booking process. Feedback from our clients on both products has been positive and we are confident that the industry, travel agents and travelers, will appreciate the added value they provide."
The new AeTM UI and mobile booking tool were showcased during Amadeus' participation at the ACTE Global Education Conference that was held recently in Rome.
