DUBAI, UAE  June 16, 2004. Captaris, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAPA), a leading provider of business information delivery solutions, today announced at the SAP Business Forum Dubai, they have been selected by Almarai to automate document delivery with their Captaris RightFax solution. The Captaris solution will give Almarai a powerful tool to reduce costs and save time by automating delivery of business critical documents like purchase orders and invoices via fax, email or the Internet directly from SAP applications.
 
Cyril Law, Manager - Infrastructure and Technical Support, Business Systems Dept., Almarai Company Limited said, “We have a real need to extend the process automation, collaboration and efficiency gains of SAP and reduce the amount of paper throughout our international operations. RightFax from Captaris will allow us to do that, so we can concentrate on our core business of producing dairy foods”.
 
Law explained how this solution will be integrated into Almarai’s existing internal systems by the end of June 2004, operating in their Riyadh offices where operations are centralised.   Almarai are presently operating on a SAP solution and RightFax will integrate fully into that platform with a simple end-user interface.  “The choice of RightFax was due to its inherent flexibility of use, the technical support offered throughout the Middle East and its reasonable investment, which we believe will have a positive return on investment in just a few months”.
