Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, May 30, 2005 - ALDAR Properties PJSC revealed its Corporate Identity and Branding today during a well-attended launch event held at the Armed Forces Officers Club in Abu Dhabi. The event was hosted by Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Chairman of ALDAR, and was attended by Board Members and senior management.

Ahmed Al Sayegh told guests at the presentation: "Corporate Identity and Branding signifies much more than a company logo - it is all about the successful positioning of a company in the market. We have challenged some of the best creative skills and strategic intellect of senior advertising specialists in the creation and planning of our branding, and the results are original and thought-provoking."

He added that the positioning line "Building The Nation" encapsulated the various aspects of ALDAR's overall branding and approach. "Although it is based in the capital of the UAE, ALDAR will undertake nationwide projects to serve the country and its people. ALDAR serves the people of the UAE and its Arabic heritage, and combines a contemporary vision with truly Arabic values."

Mr Al Sayegh explained: "We believe that our appointed creative team has delivered brand positioning which not only demonstrates our vision and mission, but is also strong - and deliberately distinct from the approach of other big players in the market. From today, UAE residents will see ALDAR's corporate advertising campaign everywhere - in newspapers, on the billboards and in the streets."

ALDAR Properties was launched on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market (ADSM) on April 5, 2005, after a highly successful IPO and is now at the forefront of the real estate, management and investment industry in the UAE.

The company has already announced a number of substantial real estate development and re-development projects in Abu Dhabi, which are set to change the urban vista of the UAE capital - namely the Al Raha Beach development, the expansion of the Al Jimi Mall in Al Ain, the redevelopment of the Abu Dhabi Central Market, the Imperial College Diabetes Centre and the MDC-ERWDA Headquarters.
