Dubai, 25 March 2003 – Al Yousuf Motors today launched their new F200 V6 Four-Stroke Outboard engine at the Dubai International Boat Show 2003 at The Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club.
The first outboard to combine the clean, quiet, economical performance of a four-stroke with outstanding V6 acceleration and top-end speed, the F200 packs a powerful punch. With this model, Yamaha brings the most advanced marine inspired four-stroke technology on the water today to UAE consumers in an extraordinarily compact, lightweight package.
Yamaha engineers collaborated with boat dealers and builders to devise the consummate shape, centreline, weight distribution and rigging specifications of the F200, designing a sleek new 60-degree V-block and routing the exhaust in-bank to save space. The 24-Valve Double Overhead Cam and Ram Charge Manifold Fuel Injection using six individual throttle valves guarantees maximum fuel injection.
Al Yousuf Motors introduced Four-Stroke Yamaha Outboard Engines to the market almost a year ago by installing twin (two units) F100 CETL and twin F50 DETL engines on a number of fishing boats in Dubai for testing purposes. The engines are still in use and the results so far have been excellent and highly satisfactory for the users, Al Yousuf Motors and Yamaha.
In addition to the much awaited Yamaha Four Stroke Outboard Engine and Four-Stroke Personal Watercraft, Al Yousuf are displaying their extensive range of outboard motors, inboard diesel engines, an array of water vehicles, Yamaha and other pleasure craft as well as the Sea Prince 39 at the Dubai International Boat Show 2003.
