Al Wifaq Properties Company (WPCO), a subsidiary of Union National Bank, has become one of the first Property and Facility Management Companies in the region to be certified by LRQA to the 2015 Integrated Management System (IMS) standards comprising of the upgraded version of ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) as well as ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) in addition to OHSAS 18001.

The scope of certification includes provision of a complete range of specialized services in property management, leasing and facility management of residential and commercial/retail properties, through an extensive network of WPCO offices and locations in UAE.

The IMS certificate was presented to Mr Zuhair Sulaiman, General Manager Al Wifaq Finance and Mr Shauqui Salman, General Manager Al Wifaq Properties by Mr Basem Obaid Area General Manager LRQA in the presence of Union National Bank CEO Mr Mohammad Nasr Abdeen and other senior officials.

“We are very pleased to be at the forefront of adopting the latest international certifications and standards for the benefit of all stakeholders. The upgraded versions of standards cater to increasing expectations of customers and interested parties.

Mr. Basem Obaid from LRQA added that the new version of Quality and Environmental Management system follow the same structure as other ISO Management System standards making it easier for anyone using multiple management systems. It also helps to address organizational risks and opportunities in a structured manner.
