In a press conference at DCCI Mr. Sulaiman Al Mazroui- The Executive Member of The Al Tomooh Supreme Committee, announced that Al Tomooh Finance Scheme for Small National Businesses will be having its first exhibition on 28-30 January 2003 at Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The announcement was made at Dubai Chamber of Commerce on Sunday 05 January 2003 and attended by:
H.E. Abdul Rahman Al Mutaiwee - Director General- Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI)- Al Tomooh Supreme Committee Member, Mr. Ahmed Al Banna- Assistant General Director, Studies & International Affairs DCCI, Mr. Salah Amin- Head of CBU-AMR - Al Tomooh Manager and Amal Moustaf- Al Tomooh Coordinator
Mr. Mazroui mentioned that the objective of this exhibition is to promote and market the projects that have been financed by Al Tomooh, and provide a boost to the confidence of the young nationals, who have put an extraordinary effort to ensure their success. Mr. Al Mazroui mentioned that the projects financed by Al Tomooh covered a wide range of business activities including Industrial, commercial, professional products and services.
The professional section will comprise law consultancy business, medical clinics and training center. The industrial section will include 3 factories, there will also be 37 other companies covering the range of business among the 42 projects representing the total number of projects financed by Al Tomooh . Mr. Sulaiman Al Mazroui thanked the Government Depts. For their support highlighting their vital role in insuring the success of the projects. He also mentioned that Al Tomooh aims at joining all the efforts to support the young nationals and encourage them to get into the world of private business, which contribute to expand our National economy and capital base.
The exhibition will also include several projects owned by national ladies to highlight and reinforce the role of the national women in our economy.
Mr. Al Mazroui stressed that the young nationals have great skills and strong well to achieve success. They only need support and encouragement. This represents the core values that Al Tomooh Scheme aims at providing. He added, we hope that Al Tomooh Scheme will develop in the future to become a federal Scheme.
